Who We Are

How Selah Seed began.

Selah Seed began in Turkey, where we serve in children’s ministry and saw how few quality faith resources were available for the kids in our churches.

How it started

It began while serving in kids ministry. We found ourselves missing a quality, modern, chronological curriculum: one that walks children through the Bible step by step, so they can truly understand the Word of God and grow deep roots in it.

So we started creating our own.

It’s a curriculum that helps children slow down, giving each story time to sink in and take root. We want them to discover what God’s Word means for their lives right now. We believe that is how children grow into strong believers, with a foundation in Christ that carries them for the rest of their lives.

It began with lessons for our own church. Then we started to dream bigger. Turkey is a country in the Middle East where following Jesus can come with real pressure, and we wanted the children growing up in that reality to know their faith on more than a surface level. We wanted them to have roots deep enough to stand strong, whatever comes.

How it grew

The more we looked, the more we realized Turkey wasn’t alone. Country after country, we found the same gap: churches trying to raise up the next generation with little quality faith education available to them.

That discovery turned a local project into a mission. We are starting with Turkey, and we believe Selah Seed can grow to serve children in other low-resource countries too, translated into their own mother tongue. We do this together with local believers: Christians in Turkey, and in every country we hope to reach, who help us bring these lessons to the churches around them.
