We create Bible curriculum for children ages 5–12 that doesn’t rush past the story. Every lesson is built around one word, Selah: an invitation to pause, reflect, and let the Word of God take root.
Children don’t just need to hear the stories of Jesus. They need time to let those stories settle.
Selah is an ancient Hebrew word found throughout the Psalms. It means pause. Reflect. Let it sink in. We built our entire curriculum around that idea, because we believe faith that lasts isn’t formed by rushing from story to activity to the next story. It’s formed in the quiet moment in between, when a child is given space to actually sit with what they just heard.
That’s why every single lesson contains a Selah moment: a short, intentional pause after the story, before anything else happens. It gives children space for the Word to take root, so that as they grow, their faith grows with them, strong enough to hold and steady enough to stand firm on.
Three ways to bring Selah Seed into your classroom or home.
